Executive Director - Shelly Propson Lennon

Shelly has served as Executive Director since Paint a Miracle’s creation in 2002. Prior to this time, she practiced law at the firm of Bodman LLP (1996-2002), specializing in corporate and tax work for nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations, including grantmaking foundations, operating foundations, churches and other religious organizations, and a number of public charities. Her work included corporate organization, counseling to the board and staff members on a variety of matters, assistance with tax and other reporting requirements, including resolving disputes with the Internal Revenue Service. Shelly currently serves on the board of Paint Creek Center for the Arts and has served on a number of boards over the years, including the Catholic Lawyers Society, and the Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums (MI). In her teens, she competed nationally and internationally in pairs figure skating and published her Note, “A Call for Statutory Regulation of Elite Child Athletes,” while in law school based on her experiences.

Education Director - Lynn Reardon

Lynn has been with Paint a Miracle as an instructor since 2005 and as Education Director and Adaptive Art Specialist since 2008. She is a lifelong artist, and has extensive program development and administration experience, in rehabilitation and educational programs, in both private and commercial sectors. Her work includes Director of Programs in art education and psychosocial rehabilitation, encompassing service to toddlers through adults. With over 30 years of experience providing fine art instruction in community-based, Montessori, and private classes, and a degree in Psychology, Lynn brings a unique perspective to meeting the needs of our diverse community of artists. Her focus at Paint a Miracle is assessing and monitoring the artistic growth of each artist. She designs and develops training, curriculum and programs to meet the immediate and changing needs of our artists. Lynn also instructs a number of Paint a Miracle’s classes.
