Young artists are exposed to a variety of art concepts and may choose to try something new each week or continue working on one piece for an extended period. Individualized instruction allows artists to work independently, at the pace and level they choose.

INTRODUCING ARTSHIP:

Virtual Studio Learning

What is Artship?

ArtShip is an online inclusive partnership and mentorship program for artists and art enthusiasts of all ages and abilities. It consists of live classes, art demonstrations, feedback from instructors, and resources to promote and celebrate the work of artists living with disabilities and other challenges.

Why Start Artship?

More and more, we are seeing a need to reach out virtually, and we have been overwhelmed by the positive feedback we have received about our classes. When we started this journey when the world shut down for Covid-19 in March 2020, we never imagined the growth that a virtual community could foster.

We are encouraged and excited to be providing programming to artists from all over the country, and we are excited to connect artists and their supporters  in a meaningful way.  ArtShip encourages inclusiveness, creativity, connections, and intergenerational sharing. In a world that still has barriers to access, which has become all too apparent during this pandemic, ArtShip provides a place to engage and a place to belong.
