Lunch Illusion
Overview:
The term illusionism is used to describe a painting that creates the illusion of a real object or scene, where the artist has shown figure in such a realistic way that they seem alive. In this case the illusion is a still life of food and place settings on newspaper. Still life paintings can be done with a number of different mediums, most commonly oil, watercolor, and acrylic paints. In this video you will be taught step by step how to paint an acrylic illusion.
Supplies:
- 11"x14" cardboard 
- News paper 
- glue stick 
- pencil or chalk 
- scissors 
- large flat brush 
- small round brush 
- 2 round objects one small one large 
- pallet 
- water cup 
- paper towel 
- Acrylic paint: Lemon yellow, yellow ocher, dark green, bright green, 
- Burnt sena, Burnt umber, Bright red, dark blue, black, and white.
