Joyful Motion is one of his favorite paintings. He has chosen mostly primary colors to work with in this painting. The lines and circles of the painting are vibrant and show wonderful movement. He’s been told that the picture is reminiscent of a storm that is beginning to clear. Joyful Motion was chosen as part of a juried competition hosted by the City of Rochester Hills for its Inside Out program at the Village. A life sized replica of the piece was on exhibit outside of Whole Foods for a number of months.
Aaron’s brother is an accomplished and trained artist and his Grandmother was artistic. Aaron says that may explain some of his artistic sense.
When questioned about his favorite thing about being an Artist at Paint a Miracle, he says he loves the history of the Knitting Mills building where Paint A Miracle is located, the people he works with and meets, and the ability to learn how to work in new artistic mediums.
His final reason, in his own words, is “I JUST LOVE IT HERE!”
