The mission of Paint a Miracle is to create places, programs and possibilities for those of us with disabilities and other challenges to explore the arts in an atmosphere of hope, growth and encouragement. We believe that by engaging in the arts and discovering our inherent sense of creative expression, we are able to respond more effectively to our challenges, create personal peace and live fuller lives. We believe that the gifts of creativity and healing which flow from our efforts are blessings from our Creator God, and we pray for these miracles in the lives of all we serve and all we meet.
Paint a Miracle is an art studio and gallery uniquely designed to offer people living with disabilities and other challenges an opportunity to explore the arts in an inspiring and innovative environment. Paint a Miracle's staff takes care to develop curriculum and adaptations to ensure that all artists have an enriching and enjoyable fine arts experience. Artists work in a variety of mediums, including painting and drawing, ceramics and fiber arts. Their works are exhibited and sold in the Paint a Miracle gallery and throughout the community. Paint a Miracle fosters community as well as creativity. It is a place of independence, artistic freedom and inspiration - a place where one can enjoy the creative process amongst friends.
Adult Artist Studio
Studio Classes are offered for both Open Studio and Clay Studio.Emphasis is placed on individual process, creativity & expression. Artists are offered the opportunity to explore a variety of mediums and techniques.Studio classes are based on individualized instruction and no experience is needed. All levels are welcome.
Youth Artist Studio
Rich art opportunities are offered to ignite the artist's imagination, shaping self-discovery!
Classes combine instructional and experimental studio time. Demonstrations are brief and frequent. Young artists are exposed to a variety of art concepts and may choose to try something new each week or continue working on one piece for an extended period.
Individualized instruction allows artists to work independently, at the pace and level they choose.
